We welcome students from all over the globe – some are straight from school, others have previously worked in the early childhood and healthcare sectors or in a completely different industry, and some are parents returning to work. Whatever their background, our students are passionate about their field of study.

All NZTC qualifications are approved by NZQA – the New Zealand government entity that oversees quality assurance for all New Zealand assessments and qualifications. All of our qualifications are on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework and NZTC is accredited to deliver them.

NZQA is internationally recognised and graduates holding approved New Zealand qualifications are highly mobile, with their qualifications being recognised in most countries.

There are no exams, but you will be expected to complete theory based assessments during the course of your study.

NZTC recognises that students face many different challenges. You have the opportunity to withdraw from study and continue at a later date, as long as you complete your qualification within the maximum allowed time.

NZTC Online has databases of journal articles and eBooks that provide the learning materials for the courses in your program. No paper-based textbooks are required.
